Commercial Finance Manager

Location: London

Role Purpose:

Responsible for Commercial performance management combined with the continuous analysis of market trends, proposition insight & business performance to help develop new propositions, targeted at delivering Gross Margin targets for MVNO business and convergence of Lebara's existing customer base with multiple products and services.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Enabling executive decision making by identifying underperformances in key metric and KPIs drivers and working directly with the CEO to enable timely corrective actions of various initiatives to drive results on track.

Work well with outsourced partners and the commercial finance team to build an analytics platform to exploit rich transactional data available across commercial areas incl. pricing and propositions, MNO, carrier, content, commercial finance and base management team to enable unified and converged commercial performance.

The role is commercial performance-driven, requiring high-level of mulit-stakeholder management, across all levels, requires interacting with C-level executives, business/tunctional heads of Pricing & Propositions, MNO, Content acquisition, Remittance, Carrier relationships, BI/IT, RA, Brand/Marketing, Commercial Finance, FP&A, Treasury and Taxation. It requires an innovative approach to drive profitable growth through strategic initiative involving participation and buy-ins across commercial teams.

  • Develop communication process and acts as umbrella covering commercial teams across MNO, Carrier, Content, Pricing & Propositions, and Remittance.

  • Improvement in accuracy of the forecasts: Bridge between Business Operations and Finance (FP&A)

  • Implement regular meetings and feedback mechanism: Across commercial teams

  • Bi-Weekly, monthly Gross Margin reviews with stakeholders across mobile and digital productions and regular reporting to SLT

  • Establish one source of data and joint up team approach across commercial teams

  • Deliver/ maximise MNO cost optimisation

  • Enable convergence

  • Provide wholesale contract negotiation support, by leveraging on analytics/ commercials insights

  • MNO Contract negotiations to leverage technology changes, suitable for market/ customer needs

  • Action tracking across commercials teams which have impact on commercial performance

Skills and Experience:

  • Significant experience in commercial and finance roles

  • Demonstrable track record of achieving commercial benefits through various analytical approaches incl. data analytics, market trends.

Please note: the nature of this role requires you to work on a full-time basis: 9am-6pm, 5 days a week.

Our BDEs play a key role in the success of our business. As a BDE, you will manage Lebara's products and services offering to our customers. The essential responsibility is to manage up to 250 accounts in the designated area with the focus on increasing Lebara product and service availability, visibility, activations and market share from the accounts.

To ensure the success of Lebara, our BDEs will efficiently manage products such as SIMs, vouchers and point of sale materials.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts within the portfolio to ensure that Lebara delivers exceptional service levels to the retailers resulting in incremental share of business and growth opportunities

  • Identify and sign up new distribution entities for Lebara within the independent retail market

  • Consistently achieve all monthly KPIs, exploring all innovative options within the framework

  • Fulfilling and maintaining required journals (route plans, surveys and audits) promptly and diligently

  • Selling and promoting all Lebara products and services to ensure that availability is maintained within independent retail stores

  • Effectively collecting and presenting market feedback to achieve competitive advantage on market changes

  • Maintain awareness of territory and account level performance and alleviate risks through gap closers and retailer commitment

  • Maintaining sound business relationships with retail partners to bring the highest possible share to Lebara

  • Be attentive to service level concerns and escalate them to the respective support functions for resolution

Head of Brand and Communications

Role Purpose:

You will be accountable for the overall strewardship of the Lebara brand, including all executions of the brand in communication, whether paid, earned, PR, social or organic. You will also be accountable for all campaign execution for Lebara across all 6 countries.

Head of Infrastructure

Role Purpose:

The role will be part of our Technology Operations functions and have ultimate responsibility for providing an Infrastructure service to our business. Head of Product

MNO Relationship Manager

Location: London

Role Purpose:

To manage the relationship with Partner MNOs from an operational and commercial perspective to ensure that Lebara maximises the benefit from the contractual arrangements.

 

Key responsibilities:
  • Formulate a structured Account / Supplier management approach with each assigned MNO.

  • Participate in monthly account review meetings with MNOs and manage the open issues identified from those meetings.

  • Be a focal point and drive projects that have a direct interaction with the MNOs.

  • Build strong relationships within each MNO and Lebara

  • Proactively identify ways of maximising benefit and efficiency for Lebara from the existing contracts.

  • Play a pivotal role in contract re-negotiation on renewal

  • Must understand the commercial impact and leverage the contract can have on Lebara’s P&L

  • Take responsibility for ensuring that Lebara is compliant in all aspects of the contracts.

  • Ensure that each assigned MNO is compliant with the contract.

  • Be aware of the regulatory environment in each country and ensure that both MNO and Lebara are compliant.

  • Be a point of escalation for in country teams and Lebara Services when they are interacting with MNOs

  • Be involved in any dispute process that arises with an assigned MNO.

  • Support any contract review process.

  • Provide regular reports on account status to the Head of MNO Management and the SLT.

Skills and Experience:

  • Graduate Calibre

  • Experienced commercial professional in complex multi layer business.

  • Experience in complex vendor contract management, preferably in Telecom

  • Strong commercial acumen

  • Solid experience within a telecoms provider and an understanding of MVNOs.
