Head of Talent & Communications

Location: East India, London
Work Type: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: Up to £85,000 per annum plus benefits

As Head of Talent and Communications you will manage the full Talent life-cycle from a strategic and operational perspective and Culture initiative, including creation and implementation of a both programs.
You will also be responsible for the creation and overview of all internal communications including platforms and channels and regular communication plans.

Key responsibilities:

Talent and Culture Program
Define, create and deliver the Talent strategy and Culture initiative with key business stakeholders

  • Agree priorities within strategy and initiative
  • Create execution and implementation roadmap
  • Ongoing use of Engagement surveys including reports on results and findings with recommendations for Lebara
  • Review and leverage analytics and engagement survey results to ensure relevant resolution for internal talent and culture issues
  • Measure and monitor impact and effectiveness of Talent strategy and Culture initiatives
  • Collaborate with wider HR team to ensure seamless integration with functional HR plans
  • Ensure alignment with local priorities and issues are understood and incorporated into functional talent planning and culture plans, and ensure alignment as appropriate (e.g. Learning, Operations, Reward, Performance Management etc)
  • Engage with key stakeholders to provide guidance and consultancy to drive desired behaviours and engagement with the Talent and Culture programme for holistic adoption in Lebara
  • Ongoing identification of new and innovative approaches to Talent Management and Culture which meet the needs of our changing organisation
  • Undertake and complete ad-hoc projects arising from both Programs
  • Oversee Customer First program, ensuring timely delivery of anticipated roadmap
  • Align Customer First program with wider business objectives
  • Support with/deliver ad-hoc Customer First projects

Succession Planning

  • Consolidate a functional view of critical roles/succession gaps in collaboration with HRBPs
  • Facilitate Talent review and succession planning processes including documentation of process
  • Create framework and engage key stakeholders to support development planning to facilitate Succession Planning tasks
  • Adopt use of existing and create new metrics to extract key insights and use these outputs to drive efficiency and success of succession plans
  • Support wider business and HR priorities including Performance Management and KPI setting and JD reviews

Internal Communications

  • Create and review all internal communications to ensure higher level of engagement with Lebara employees
  • Support C-Level and key stakeholder with business communications such as TownHalls
  • Create communication campaigns which address relevant Lebara issues
  • Collaborate with Brand and Communications department to ensure alignment with desired Tone of Voice
  • Ensure alignment of Communications strategy with HR and Marketing strategy
  • Support with ad-hoc Comms projects
  • Directly manage internal Communications Manager

Skills and Experience:
Essential:

  • Demonstrable experience delivering complex strategic and operational Culture programs
  • Well-developed group facilitation skills, coupled with understanding of instructional design

User Experience Lead

  • Ensure appropriate processes and systems are in place to be able to respond to individuals when they exercise their rights (e.g. subject access request, object to processing, right to be forgotten etc.)

REGULATORY

  • To support the business to manage multi-jurisdictional regulatory matters for the company, where applicable managing the use of external regulatory experts across multiple jurisdictions
  • The preparation of high-quality documentation for all regulatory submissions, following current best practice standards
  • Ensuring Lebara’s services, legal documentation and marketing collateral are compliant with relevant regulatory rules and regulations in all countries where Lebara is either active or plans to become active

What you’re good at:

  • Qualified Lawyer with strong commercial contract law experience (solid relevant PQE) either in-house or in a firm
  • Experience within a technology and digital legal environment with specific experience as a data protection subject matter expert
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of Data Privacy Laws (GDPR and e-privacy)
  • Strategic and operational understanding of the MVNO / OTT market – Telco regulation knowledge would be great!
  • Delivering strong commercial legal advice across multiple jurisdictions preferred, specifically in the fields of compliance, commercial contract law, regulatory data protection and privacy

Accounts Assistant
