Commercial Finance Manager

Location: London

Role Purpose:

Responsible for Commercial performance management combined with the continuous analysis of market trends, proposition insight & business performance to help develop new propositions, targeted at delivering Gross Margin targets for MVNO business and convergence of Lebara's existing customer base with multiple products and services.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Enabling executive decision making by identifying underperformances in key metric and KPIs drivers and working directly with the CEO to enable timely corrective actions of various initiatives to drive results on track.

Work well with outsourced partners and the commercial finance team to build an analytics platform to exploit rich transactional data available across commercial areas incl. pricing and propositions, MNO, carrier, content, commercial finance and base management team to enable unified and converged commercial performance.

The role is commercial performance-driven, requiring high-level of mulit-stakeholder management, across all levels, requires interacting with C-level executives, business/tunctional heads of Pricing & Propositions, MNO, Content acquisition, Remittance, Carrier relationships, BI/IT, RA, Brand/Marketing, Commercial Finance, FP&A, Treasury and Taxation. It requires an innovative approach to drive profitable growth through strategic initiative involving participation and buy-ins across commercial teams.

  • Develop communication process and acts as umbrella covering commercial teams across MNO, Carrier, Content, Pricing & Propositions, and Remittance.

  • Improvement in accuracy of the forecasts: Bridge between Business Operations and Finance (FP&A)

  • Implement regular meetings and feedback mechanism: Across commercial teams

  • Bi-Weekly, monthly Gross Margin reviews with stakeholders across mobile and digital productions and regular reporting to SLT

  • Establish one source of data and joint up team approach across commercial teams

  • Deliver/ maximise MNO cost optimisation

  • Enable convergence

  • Provide wholesale contract negotiation support, by leveraging on analytics/ commercials insights

  • MNO Contract negotiations to leverage technology changes, suitable for market/ customer needs

  • Action tracking across commercials teams which have impact on commercial performance

  • Identify key leavers to enable/ improve commercial decision making process

  • Provide commercial support for key strategic projects e.g. Project GENESIS

  • Identify opportunities to leverage on partners’ strengths including: revenue generation activities, gain-share model to optimise costs of operations, additional areas for outsourcing/ offshoring, as prioritised across business

Skills and Experience:

  • Significant experience in commercial and finance roles

  • Demonstrable track record of achieving commercial benefits through various analytical approaches incl. data analytics, market trends.

  • Strong understanding of P&L

  • Experience of presenting to and get buy-ins from senior stakeholders incl. board members

  • Experience of managing direct and cross-functional teams

  • Experience of financial modelling and analytics

Head of Digital

Role Purpose:

You will be accountable for the development, management and execution of all Lebara's digital activities, both directly and indirectly.

 

Key responsibilities:
  • Development, delivery and continuous improvement of Lebara’s digital presence online, including websites, mobile app(s), and social media sites, across all countries and languages.

  • Partner management for delivery of all aspects of Lebara’s digital customer experience, including – but not limited to – websites, mobile app(s), social media interaction, online sales, and online care and engagement.

  • Accountable for the design, development and delivery of Lebara’s differentiated UX / UI across all digital channels.

  • Responsible to consult and advise digital media activities for all campaigns and ongoing activities.

  • Responsible for delivery of social media capabilities.

  • Identification and management of all digital tools for internal and external digital management, across all platforms and countries.

  • Maintaining brand and positioning alignment between and across all digital platforms of Lebara.

  • Monitoring, testing, and constant refinement of the Lebara digital experience across all platforms and countries.

  • Ensuring a “digital first” culture and mentality within Lebara by working across the organization.

Skills and Experience:

  • Exceptional digital experience in online sales, CEx, UX / UI, and online care.

  • Experience in managing social channels (both paid and organic) for successful customer engagement.

  • Experience in influencer marketing.

  • Experience managing external digital partners for content, development, tools, training.

  • Extensive knowledge of digital media approaches.

  • Extensive experience with digital tools and testing methodologies.

Head of Product

Location: London

Role Purpose:

You will be accountable for the development and delivery of Lebara key products, supporting the Marketing team (segments, country directors, hero product / proposition delivery) in execution of the product roadmap.

 

Key responsibilities:
  • Managing a product team focusing on – initially – contract and prepaid product segments, and the commercial delivery team.

  • Internal project management for delivery of product roadmap across all relevant countries.

  • Prioritization of product delivery by working with IT, and other internal teams.

  • Constant communication with countries, marketing, EXCO, CCO and all responsible internal delivery teams.

  • Development of product portfolio including product improvements, efficiency improvements, and creation of further market differentiation of Lebara’s product portfolio.

  • Constant market monitoring for “best-in-class” new and revised products, whether from our competitors or not.

  • Linkage and prioritization of product delivery process and roadmap, with strategic marketing (segment, hero, and country) initiatives.

Skills and Experience:

  • Strong product development and product marketing skills and experience.

  • Excellent project management capabilities and experience.

  • Experience with Agile development.

  • Excellent cross-functional communication skills.

  • Strong people and process management, both indirect and direct.

  • Experience as a product lead for complex, multi-market telecom products.

Facilities Assistant

Location: London

Role Purpose:

To provide Facilities Assistant support for the UK office and its employees.  Also, additional support to the CEO PA and HR Business Partner

Key responsibilities:
 
  • Housekeeping checks throughout the day ensuring the office is kept neat and tidy
  • Collecting and sorting post; co-ordinate distribution of parcels / packages from reception area
  • Keep topped-up supplies of milk, tea, coffee etc in main kitchen and tea points
  • Stationery – maintain stock levels, ordering when necessary
  • Assist with the timely processing invoices for suppliers
  • Speak with cleaning team on day-to-day matters, flagging concerns or consistent issues
  • Manage access passes for new joiners and take back those for leavers
  • Storage cupboards and lockers – update list of allocations or returns with keys
  • Managing off-site storage and archiving and on-site confidential shredding
  • Arrange with maintenance teams for repairs/replacements
  • Help with desk moves or new starters equipment or queries
  • Assist the CEO PA and HR Business Partner on any ad hoc issues or projects as and when required
