Role Purpose:

To reduce international voice termination costs through effective routing, account management and supplier negotiation for Lebara Retail voice traffic, while monitoring voice call quality.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Role Purpose:

To provide first class professional personal support to our Chief Marketing and Digital Officer and additional support to the Executive Team when required.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage diaries, meeting rooms and appointments – proactively anticipating needs and managing changing priorities in a complex and busy environment

  • Manage emails and action accordingly

  • Co-ordinate travel itineraries and make local and international travel arrangements when appropriate

Head of CS Planning and Analytics

Role Purpose:

The overall purpose of thsi role is to lead CS Planning and Analytics, focusing on resource and operations planning, cost managment and execution of related data collection, analysis, reporting and metrics monitoring for Customer Service. Tax Accountant

Role Purpose:

  • Lebara files corporate tax, VAT and Other tax returns in UK, Europe and Rest of the World. The Tax Accountant will support the Senior Tax Manager in meeting all Lebara’s group tax and compliance deliverables working to tight deadlines. The role will involve working with Lebara Finance teams based principally in UK and Europe, HR team and Senior Management.

  • The role will be predominantly tax focussed however the candidate should also be willing to assist in other areas of Group Finance (eg Treasury) as required. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn and to build on their experience, who asks questions and is always looking to improve and document processes

 

Key Responsibilities:

Corporation Tax: UK, Europe, Overseas

  • Assist with the preparation of UK Corporation tax returns using Alphatax software.

  • Assist with the review of Overseas Corporation tax returns prepared by third party advisers.

  • RDEC: Working with the Business & specialist advisors to ensure required data and backing information is available.

  • Providing support with any other area of Business/Direct tax including projects as they arise.

  • Assist with Group Tax Accounting and Tax in Statutory accounts

Please note: the nature of this role requires you to work on a full-time basis: 9am-6pm, 5 days a week.

Our BDEs play a key role in the success of our business. As a BDE, you will manage Lebara's products and services offering to our customers. The essential responsibility is to manage up to 250 accounts in the designated area with the focus on increasing Lebara product and service availability, visibility, activations and market share from the accounts.

To ensure the success of Lebara, our BDEs will efficiently manage products such as SIMs, vouchers and point of sale materials.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts within the portfolio to ensure that Lebara delivers exceptional service levels to the retailers resulting in incremental share of business and growth opportunities

  • Identify and sign up new distribution entities for Lebara within the independent retail market

  • Consistently achieve all monthly KPIs, exploring all innovative options within the framework

  • Fulfilling and maintaining required journals (route plans, surveys and audits) promptly and diligently

Digital Marketing Executive

Role Purpose:

To execute and manage digital marketing strategy to acquire and retain customers across paid search and social media platforms including Facebook, twitter and YouTube for all Lebara products. Good analytical skills and understanding of affiliate platforms and networks is a plus.

  • Experience in using CMS platforms to update website’s content, banners and creating landing pages is a plus

Operations Manager

  • Accountable for ensuring seamless supply of MSISDN and SIMs through the MNO partner

  • Providing forecasting for SIM ordering, SIM pre-activation and SIM activation; manage SIM/Voucher provisioning

  • Forecasting according to the specification of the MNO (Data, SMS, Minutes, Promotions)

UAT

  • Customer Service/Testing – UAT for new products

  • Experience within a telecommunications service provider desirably - Mobile operator, pre pay mobile services, top ups strongly preferred

Legal Regulatory & Counsel and DPO

Role Purpose:

Manage all multi-jurisdictional legal commercial contractual, compliance and regulatory matters for the Company with a particular focus on Data Protection and Privacy matters as well as, marketing and advertising, commercial business to business and business to consumer distribution contracts and litigation. Key responsibilities:
 

COMMERCIAL LEGAL ADVISORY
To actively manage all multi-jurisdictional commercial legal requirements for the Company:

  • Provide advice to the Company on all legal obligations and risk management regarding product development

  • Draft, negotiate and execute wholesale, resale and introductory agreements, contractual agreements with suppliers, and commercial business to consumer and distribution contracts;

  • Provide commercial advice to the business to ensure all marketing and advertising complies to relevant regulation in accordance with the business interests and values;

  • Building relationships and liaising with relevant authorities to achieve the Company’s strategic objectives;

  • Play an active legal advisory role in due diligence for mergers, acquisitions and other ad-hoc commercial activities and changes;

  • Manage litigation matters in all jurisdictions;

  • Manage relationship with external law firms

COMPLIANCE & DATA PROTECTION
This role will own all multi-jurisdictional data protection and privacy matters for the Company:

  • Responsible for all data protection compliance;

  • Acting as Lebara’s Data Protection Officer;

  • Address and resolve all compliance issues as identified through regular audit;

  • Manage identified areas of law and be a proactive subject matter expert in data protection reviewing externally published materials to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and legislation;

  • Review output from sales and marketing and, where necessary seek relevant consents or advice;

  • Provide legal advice to key stakeholders regarding Privacy Impact Assessment and the interpretation of legal transactions to ensure that correct actions are taken at appropriate times;

  • Ensure appropriate processes and systems are in place to be able to respond to individuals when they exercise their rights (e.g. subject access request, object to processing, right to be forgotten etc.)

  • Promote a strong and positive culture that values individuals' privacy;

  • Ensure compliance with applicable advertising and marketing guidelines and law, Articles of Association, Shareholder’s Agreement and relevant Companies and broader legislation

REGULATORY
To support the business to manage multi-jurisdictional regulatory matters for the company, where applicable managing the use of external regulatory experts across multiple jurisdictions, to deliver the same, to include:

  • The preparation of high quality documentation for all regulatory submissions, following current best practice standards;

  • Ensuring Lebara’s services, legal documentation and marketing collateral are compliant with relevant regulatory rules and regulations in all countries where Lebara is either active or plans to become active;

  • To anticipate, identify and resolve in a timely manner any opportunities and threats from regulatory developments including but not limited to those regarding terms and tariffs;

  • To liaise with relevant internal departments and external contacts to ensure regulatory requirements for these submissions are met, and to proactively communicate with regulatory authorities in order to expedite approval of submissions

 

Skills and Experience:

  • Qualified lawyer with previous experience in a legal environment with strong commercial contract law experience (solid relevant PQE) either in-house or in a firm;

  • Previous substantial and demonstrable experience with a technology and digital legal environment with specific experience as a data protection subject matter expert experience;

  • Requires competent understanding of relevant laws including Data Privacy (GDPR and e-privacy);

  • A sound strategic and operational understanding of the MVNO / OTT market, knowledge of Telecommunications regulation is a plus;

  • Experience of delivering strong commercial legal advice across multiple jurisdictions preferred, specifically in the fields of compliance, commercial contract law, regulatory data protection and privacy;

  • Comprehensive understanding of and experience with contract law, litigation, the EU regulatory framework and their equivalents in other Lebara countries or geographic areas of interest;

  • Experience in Project Management advantageous
