Maximum out-of-bundle charges

If you have run out of bundle, then you pay other rates up to a maximum of €25. It is not possible to change this spending cap. We always notify you by text message when your bundle is almost empty. Via MyLebara and the MyLebara app your can easily see how many data, call minutes and text messages you have left.

Of course, you can always be reached by phone and SMS. And buying a new bundle or extra out-of-bundle credit is super simple via the app or website.

Always control your out-of-bundle costs

Would you like more control over your out-of-bundle costs? Then for €0.50 per month, enable the data cap on MyLebara. With this extra option, you can't use mobile data when your data bundle runs out, and therefore never incur extra charges for data outside your bundle.


Out-of-bundle rates

After you have used all your bundle, you can keep using your phone for a fee of €0.15 per minute/SMS and €0,10. per MB. You will be charged at this rate until you reach the spending cap of €25. If you purchased or renewed a 24-month Sim Only subscription before 14 July 2022, then different rates apply. Check those here.


Example

Suppose you have a Sim Only bundle for €9, with 5GB of data, 150 minutes and 150 text messages. When you’ve used all your bundle, you can keep using your services until you reach up to €25 in out-of-bundle costs. That way, you know that your bill will never be higher than €34 per month.

Have you (almost) used all your bundle? You can easily buy new data bundles and extra minutes online or using our app.

When your bundle is depleted, you pay the out-of-bundle rate of 15 cents per minute/text and 10 cents per MB. You pay this rate until you reach the maximum of 25 euros. After that, you can no longer use data, make calls or send texts. Of course, you can still receive calls and text messages. If you purchased or renewed a 24-month Sim Only subscription before July 14th 2022, then other credits and rates apply. Check those here.

For calls to service numbers (such as 0900 numbers), extra costs apply. These calls are always excluded from your bundle and will appear on your bill under 'usage outside your bundle'.

We always send you a text message when you reach 80% and 100% of your calling minutes, text messages or data usage. We also send you a text message when you have used all of your out-of-bundle credit.

Inside the EU (plus Switzerland and the United Kingdom), you do not pay any extra costs for calling and sending text messages to other EU countries or using mobile internet. We always send you a text message to inform you when you have used 80% and 100% of your minutes, texts or data bundle. Have you used all your bundle? If so, then the out-of-bundle rate will apply to any services you use. You will be charged at this rate until you reach an out-of-bundle limit of 25 euros. After you reach this 25 euro limit, you can no longer call, send text messages or use data. Of course, you can still receive incoming calls and text messages.

No, you cannot increase or decrease the amount of maximum out-of-bundle charges. However, it is possible to turn on the data cap. With this extra option, you can't use mobile data if your data bundle runs out, so you never incur extra costs for data outside your bundle.
