Contract length

Contract length

1 month:  This is a monthly rolling contract. It is fully flexible, so changing between pricepoints can be done on a mohtly basis.

24 months:  This is the most afforadable choice! with a 24 month plan you ensure the best price for the next 2 years.

Bundle (4G)

Speed

All our bundles are 4G with a download speed of 25 Mbit/s, and an upload speed of 10 Mbit/s.

Coverage

We use the telecom network of KPN, Click here for the coverage. 

Call limit

Every bundle has a free call limit of €10. This means that every month you are allowed a max of €10,- out of bundle costs, for example to call abroad or use additional data. This helps you to prevent increased extra costs.

Fair Use Policy: unlimited calls and SMS

Lebara Sim Only conducts a Fair Use Policy (FUP). The FUP (conditions for reasonable use) is part of our Terms and Conditions and entails that the Lebara customer cannot exceed a normal monthly usage. Normal usage is defined as a maximum of 3.000 minutes a month and 1.000 SMS a month. When you deviate from the Fair Use, Lebara has the right to suspend the service or terminate the contract.Foreign numbers outside the bundle, special paid service numbers (such as 0900) and paid SMS services, will be charged separately.

Plan type

National Plan

*With the National Lebara Sim Only plan you can call and SMS unlimited within the Netherlands.

If you are in one of the EU countries and want to call or SMS to Dutch numbers, then you can do that without extra costs with a National bundle. If you receive a call within the EU, then it’s free.

International Plan

If you choose for the option International, then you can call and SMS unlimited within the Netherlands. You can also call and SMS unlimited from the Netherlands to the EU and to 17 countries outside the EU:

More information about Lebara

You can determine this by yourself. You will receive a link by e-mail through which you can activate your subscription. You will need the actual sim card to activate your account, and we recommend to start your subscription within 3 months. Will you port your number from another provider? Then you will need to activate your account at least one day before the actual date of number porting.
With the delivery of your sim card you will receive a letter with instructions on how to request number portability. You decide when your subscription starts. We recommend that you activate your sim only subscription at least one day before the number will be ported. Please note that you can only request number porting if your contract with your current provider expires within 90 days.

Our theoretical up / download speeds are: 75 mbps download and 10 mbps upload. The actual speed depends on your device, location and how busy the network is. Lebara operates on the reliable 4G network of KPN. Curious about coverage in the Netherlands? Check the coverage here

Is your credit (almost) finished? We will notify you by SMS. From the moment that your call credit is finished, your call limit starts. This means that every month you are allowed a max of €10,- out of bundle costs, for example to call abroad or use additional data. When this maximum is reached you will use the remainder of your prepaid credit you might have. If you do not have this or if you have a used it? Then your sim card will be (temporarily) blocked for incoming and outgoing traffic. This helps you to prevent increased extra costs. Potential extra costs from your €10,- monthly call limit are specified on your invoice and will be charged on top of your monthly subscription fee. If you do not want your simcard to be blocked for outgoing and incoming traffic after reaching your call limit? Then you can easily buy additional credit. This is only possible here or in the MyLebara app.

With a monthly rolling contract you can up or downgrade your bundle. Do you have a 24 month contract? In that case you can only upgrade to a higher bundle.

If you’re in one of the EU countries and want to call or SMS to a Dutch number, you can do so at no extra cost with a national bundle. With an international bundle, you can call 44 countries from the Netherlands. You can also call other EU countries from the EU For example, if you’re in Germany, you can also use the international bundle to call France or one of the other EU countries. You can also use your mobile internet data from your bundle without extra costs if you’re in one of the EU countries. A Fair Use Policy to this.

Lebara sends the 3-in-1 sim card for free. You can press from the 3-in-1 sim card a normal sim card, micro sim card or nano simcard. Therefore our sim card will fit in every mobile telephone, smartphone or tablet.
